What a delightful surprise! Cleanest motel we've ever stayed in. Room smells like fresh laundry. Quiet and comfortable. Respectful owner. His and hers slippers waiting inside the door - so thoughtful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

My wife and I were recently one of many who were affected by the wild storm and subsequent blackout on the May weekend. After a few nights of darkness and no hot water, we decided to treat ourselves to a night back in civilization. This property was recommended to us, and it is a terrific find! Almost every review mentions how clean the rooms are, but we were still surprised just how immaculately clean they actually are. Everything looks fresh and new and very well cared for. As others have said, the owners are very friendly and accommodating, and the rates are surprisingly reasonable. I would highly recommend Moonlight to anyone visiting the area.

We stayed here on our way to a winter camping trip. The room was tidy, the bathroom was clean and the hot water worked great in the bathroom. There is basic local cable for the large screen TV and the fridge and microwave both adequate for an overnight or weekend stay. The hosts were friendly and accommodating and made sure we were happy with our stay. You have Woody Burger or the Ranch very, very close by if you need something to eat, as well as other options in town in Havelock. This is an affordable, clean and quiet place to stay. I will stay here again.
This motel is a gem! The room was very clean and had a nice warm atmosphere. It has nice big windows that brightens up the room with a view of the motel's beautiful landscape. The staff are very friendly and attentive to your needs! Highly recommend this motel if it's on your route! P.s the bed is really comfy which is a major plus!
Got stuck in Havelock with car trouble and stayed overnight at the Moonlight Motel. The room was clean and comfortable. I can't say enough about how nice the owner is. She was very accommodating.
A fantastic little spot, my room was spotless, well appointed and the bed was super comfy. Clearly independently owned/run which is always a bonus. Super reasonably priced, and I was able to check in late at night, which I was super grateful for. I know where I'll be staying if I ever need to spend the night in the area again.
Stayed there a couple of weeks ago for two nights, where our first stay was only one night. Rooms are good size and clean. Management Jay and Jin are super friendly and very accommodating. The beds are comfy and had a great sleep. Next trip we will definitely stay there again. We will be returning customers for a long time to come.
Rooms are a little dated but they were very clean and owner was pleasant. If Im in the area again I will definitely be back.
